My impression from most Binding of Isaac fans I've met for some reason just have to have a guide to play this game, as if it's a Nintendo Power game.Īre there any other people here who managed to play through it all blindly? How did you possibly manage to beat it without a guide? If there wasn't a guide, would these people resort to cheats? Do these people read books, or just read Sparknotes? To each, her own, right? It's a preference that's different that mine - I get it.but I don't understand the mentality. ![]() The heck? People really find the game so difficult or confusing that they find it necessary to use a guide? I've caught even extremely experienced players (coworker) who for some reason need a guide on their playthrough. I've met some fellow Isaac players in real life and I'm always shocked to find out that they always play the game with some sort of guide (e.g. I've played & beat every iteration of the game as they released, except for the most recent one (which I'm working on). I've loved Binding of Isaac, since it first was a flash game on Newgrounds.
